The National Debutante Cotillion and Thanksgiving Ball welcomes young women and their families from around the country to Washington for an extraordinary five-day whirlwind of gatherings, parties and dances. This year marks 77 years since the Ball's founding by Miss Mary-Stuart "Studie" Montague Price. We are honored to continue Studie's legacy and look forward to celebrating with old friends and new on November 28, 2025.

Today's Debutantes

In years past, a young lady’s presentation announced her membership in adult society. Today’s debutantes embrace their roles as active and involved young women with accomplishments in education, a chosen career, and humanitarian endeavors. The National Debutante Cotillion brings these dynamic young women together in beautiful settings where lasting friendships are formed and families celebrate together.

The National Debutante Cotillion is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and all-volunteer public charity, which supports humanitarian works and organizations, including the Children’s National Hospital of Washington, D.C.
